Ingredients
1 whole egg
1 egg yolk
1 c. canned pumpkin
½ c. sugar
½ c. buttermilk
¼ c. br. sugar
3 Tbsp. butter, melted
4 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
1 tsp. salt
½ tsp. baking soda
3 c. flour
Directions
Mix all ingredients except flour. When well mixed, add the flour and mix until coated. Batter will be sticky. Cover with plastic wrap and freeze for 15 minutes. Pat out dough like biscuits and cut with a donut or biscuit cutter. Fry dough in hot oil about 3 minute or until browned. Put in a small paper bag and shake with cinnamon sugar.
