King's French Toast w/ Magleby's Syrup



Ingredients
1 egg
Whipping cream
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
King’s Hawaiian Sweet Bread

Directions
Slice sweet bread.  Mix cinnamon and sugar, add cream and egg and beat well.  Dip bread into batter and fry in pan until golden brown.  Serve with Magleby’s syrup (recipe below).


Magleby’s Syrup


Ingredients
1 stick butter
1 c. sugar
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. corn syrup
½ tsp. baking soda

Directions
Bring first 5 ingredients to a boil.  Add the baking soda and boil for 10 seconds then remove from heat immediately to avoid boil over.  Serve warm with King’s French Toast (recipe above) or any French toast.
