Cook 2 1/2 -3 lbs. of pork roast in a crock pot seasoned with 1/8  teaspoon garlic salt and 1/8 teaspoon pepper.  Add about 1/3 cup water.   Cook on high for 4 hours.  Drain off water and shred.  Add 1 small can  of diced chilies and 1/2 -1 cup of brown sugar.  Allow to cook a little  longer about 15 minutes.
We find it a little dry after the last step of the  brown sugar.  So this last time, Allen saved some water that he drained  off and then readded some of it.
